Before we can 3D print anything for you, you will always need to upload a 3D file. A 3D file is a virtual representation of a three-dimensional object that is generated on a computer. It is a model that can be rotated and observed from all angles. A 3D file like this is needed as input for a 3D printer. 

We do not offer the service making 3D files out of 2D data such as a technical drawing, PDFs or image files (JPGs, PNGs, etc.).

• Download: The easiest and fastest way to get your first 3D file is to download it. There are many sites that offer a variety of 3D files free of charge. 
• 3D Scan: If you want to copy an existing product, then it could be an interesting option to send the piece to a dedicated companies who offers 3D scanning services. For less technical projects, there are free apps available that can transform photos of a model into a 3D file. Please note that a successful outcome when using these apps strongly depends on the complexity of the object/photos.
• Hire a 3D Designer: Another simple solution for getting a printable 3D file is hiring a professional 3D designer. By providing a sketch or technical drawing a professional 3D modeler will be able create a 3D model according to your wishes.
• 3D Modeling: Last but not least you can use 3D modeling software to design your model by yourself. This option gives you the most design freedom. It means that you will learn how to draw and design on your computer in a virtual, three-dimensional space.
